Summary of Recall:  Snyder's-Lance, Inc. is initiating a voluntary recall of Diamond of California Macadamia Nuts, distributed in retail stores nationwide, due to possible Salmonella contamination.  There have been no reported illnesses to date.  The voluntary recall is the result of testing by a FDA-contracted laboratory which revealed that a 4oz package of Diamond of California Chopped Macadamia Nuts contained Salmonella.

Product Description: The affected products are those with specific Best Before Dates and Lot Numbers.  No other production codes, sizes or varieties of Diamond of California products are affected by this recall.

Hazard: Possible contamination with Salmonella.

What You Should Do: Consumers who have purchased this product should discontinue use immediately and return the product to the nearest Meijer store for a full refund.
