Summary of Recall: Frito-Lay announced in cooperation with the FDA, it is voluntarily recalling certain varieties and specific lot codes of Jalapeno Flavored Lay’s Kettle Cooked potato chips and twenty Count Frito-Lay Bold Mix Sacks due to the potential presence of Salmonella in the seasoning.
Product Description: The affected products are those with a “Guaranteed Fresh” date of JUL 4 or prior on the individual bags, and a “Use By” date of JUN 20 or prior on the multipack offerings.
Hazard: Potential contamination with Salmonella.
