Product Description:

The recall involves Graco Convertible Car Seats and Harnessed Booster Car Seats with the Signature and QT buckles.  The affected products are those manufactured between 2009 and July 2013.  Seats manufactured after July 2013 use a different harness buckle.  The recall does not affect Graco Infant Car Seats and Travel systems.

 Summary of Recall:  Graco Children’s Products announced in cooperation with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration it is voluntarily recalling convertible car seats and harnessed booster car seats due to a possible safety issue.

Hazard: If a harness buckle becomes difficult to open or stuck in the latched position, a caregiver could be delayed from removing a child from a car seat in the event of an emergency.

What You Should Do: Consumers who have purchased this product can clean the buckle to restore functionality while waiting for the replacement buckle to arrive.  Consumer may also return this product to their nearest Meijer store for a full refund.
