Product Description:  Assembled Bikes at Meijer

Meijer is recalling certain adult and youth, two-wheeled bicycles (measuring 20” or more) sold between March 2012 and August 2012. These were sold under various brand names which include Huffy, Iron Horse, Mongoose, Northwoods, Pacific, Razor, and Schwinn.

This recall does not affect bicycles with assembly stickers filled out in green marker. The assembly sticker (pictured above) is most commonly located on the bottom of the bicycle frame between the pedals or on the back of the frame facing the rear tire.

Summary of Recall: Bicycles assembled by Serv-U-Success and sold at Meijer stores between March 2012 and August 2012 are being recalled in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission due to the pedals potentially loosening and possibly detaching. 

Hazard: Pedals may loosen and/or detach during use.
 
What You Should Do: Consumers who have purchased an affected bicycle should stop using it immediately and return the product to any Meijer store for a full refund or a replacement bicycle of equal value, plus a $10.00 store coupon.
