Summary Of Recall: Abbott announced in cooperation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, it is voluntarily recalling Similac®-brand powder infant formulas, after an internal quality review, which detected the remote possibility of the presence of a small common beetle in the product.
What You Should Do: Consumers who have purchased this product should stop using it immediately and return this product to your nearest Meijer store.
Consumers with questions about health concerns should contact their Physician.
Note: State approved WIC formula can only be returned with a receipt that verifies that they did not purchase the item within a WIC transaction.
If Receipt is present and not part of a WIC transaction: refund may be given back per the original form of payment or the item may be exchanged for an item of equal or lesser value.
If Receipt is present and part of a WIC transaction: exchange for WIC eligible formula is permitted. If WIC eligible formula is not available, an exchange for another WIC eligible item only is permitted.
If Receipt is not present: exchange for WIC eligible formula is permitted. If WIC eligible formula is not available an exchange for another WIC eligible item only is permitted.
